Want to be involved in progressive media? Want to get on-the-fly experience keeping a nonprofit, progressive media organization running smoothly? How about becoming an Organizational Intern at National Radio Project? You’ll join a team of highly trained and passionate people in a supportive and nurturing environment, while gaining valuable skills and experience applicable both within the media world and outside.
Organizational Interns do a wide variety of very important things, such as data entry, filing, making flyers, tabling at events, writing, transcription, fundraising, marketing/promotion, station outreach, Web research, computer maintenance (Mac and/or PC), CD duplication, networking with community members and grassroots groups and more.
Interns are expected to make a three-month minimum commitment and spend a minimum of 8 hours per week in the National Radio Project office.
