MAKING CONTACT - a weekly international radio program

Private companies have been moving into the realm of public education for some time now. Potential profits have been one motive, but another have been to shape public opinion through school materials. On this program we take a look at corporate involvement in student curricula.
This program includes a segment on sexist advertising in schools, which was produced by National Radio Project's Women's Desk.
