MAKING CONTACT - a weekly international radio program
October 6, 1999
In preparation for the upcoming World Trade Organization summit later this year, some of the biggest corporations in the world are scrambling to set-up new public relations outfits to combat anti-global trade sentiment. Momentum is building as thousands of activists prepare to stage public forums and counter-demonstrations during the WTO meeting.
On this program we take a look at the WTO, its goals and how its decisions have affected the world's economies.
