In some cases, people have died in police custody after being subjected to the burning chemical agent, sparking outrage from victims' families and communities. And, there's been a growing use of pepper spray against social activists as a means of intimidation. On this program, we take a look at how police have used pepper spray during demonstrations and some broader implications.
