According to Amnesty International, for human rights violations in U.S. women’s prisons, these are allegations that activists and prisoners themselves have been raising for years. On this program, we’ll discuss Amnesty’s findings, and we’ll hear from women prisoners and prison activists, who talk about medical neglect and sexual abuse. This show is a production of the National Radio Project’s Women’s Desk.
