Thanks to you, we raised $15,000 to meet our donations challenge match. We did it! In December, we increased the overall numbers of supporters. Welcome new friends!

I was reminded of the importance of our work last week when 131 people (mostly veterans) were arrested in front of the White House to protest the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan  —- and the mainstream news ignored it.

Help Us Meet Our Challenge Match! (December 2010)
“I cried when I heard Making Contact airing my poetry and interview. I have been searching for a place where I can tell my story – as a Black woman, as an ex-prisoner, and as an artist and teacher in Ohio. Making Contact is that outlet for me and others like me.”  -Angelina Jackson

Fall 2009 (November)

Summer 2009 (August)
In August, we released, “How We Survive: Resisting Foreclosures” – full of voices that are changing the terms of the foreclosure crisis. Upcoming editions of How We Survive will explore alternative economies, immigrants and the recession, and global responses to the economic crisis.
