Renowned author Chris Hedges describes a world in rapid economic, environmental, and spiritual decline. He says we have a chance to turn things around—but only if we stand up for our rights, and stop holding out hope that political parties or other global leaders will act in our interests. On this edition, Chris Hedges speaks about his new book, The World As It Is: Dispatches on the Myth of Human Progress.

Yet he is having more kids? He seems so pessimistic (realistic) yet he is having kids (more of them) what’s up? Is he selling us?

  4. On the contrary Bill, it is the children who bring light into this dark world.

  6. Dick Livingstone says:

    Hi,

I had to write to someone about the interview between Mr. Hedges and Kevin O’Leary. I know Mr. Hedges realizes that O’Leary does not speak on behalf of Canadians and should that he should not be empolyed by a major news network in the event people elsewhere mistakenly think that he does.

Mr. Hedges I admire your work and I hope that you were able to forget about Kevin O’Leary the moment you took the device out of your ear.

    Regards,

    Dick
