It is ludicrous for an insurance company to deem any procedure, much less an abortion "urgent" three years after the fact, which is what happened with the young lady interviewed in this program. This could completely surpress the "right to choose" for women without means.

Stephanie Poggi makes a point that “those with the least resources” (young women, women of color and low income women) are the most at risk. This is a serious injustice to women's rights in health care and is indisputably a form of “discrimination.”

All too often the politics and conflict that surround abortion silence the voices of those who have had one. I appreciated the opportunity to hear Jenny's story and hope to hear more in the future. Creating more room where each person's unique story can be heard with dignity and respect is crucial to transforming the abortion conflict - and promoting every woman's wellbeing.
